I created this soap in November 2020 to celebrate becoming a Registered Choctaw Artist—a moment of deep pride and meaning for me.
Chahta Sia Hoke—I am Choctaw!
I wanted this bar to look like the Oklahoma sky when it’s heavy with storm clouds, just before the thunder breaks, when the light shifts and everything feels charged. Swirls of dark blue, gray and white mimic those churning skies, and a single feather floats across the surface, like it’s being carried on the wind—symbolic of movement and spirit.
Crafted with nourishing goat milk and scented with “First Rain,” this soap has a fresh, earthy, clean aroma that captures the scent of the air just before the storm touches down.
