There's a Choctaw story of the creation of Tanchi (corn in Choctaw). Corn has always been central to the our people, providing sustenance and strength, through the generations. You can watch a version of the story of how corn was gifted to the Choctaw, here. It’s not exactly as how I was told but it’s very similar.
This soap, shaped like an ear of corn, is a reflection of that deep connection. The scent captures the warmth of a summer sun and the fresh, green essence of cornhusks. It’s a beautiful combination! When you get down to it, it simply smells like suntan lotion without the coconut. It is one of my favorite fragrances all year long!
Created to honor the importance of corn to our people, this soap brings a touch of our heritage and the natural world into your everyday life.
